Mediation Support Ltd was founded in 2006 by Paul Crosland, former Head of Restorative Justice at Mediation UK, with the support of a number of colleagues and mediation services.

Mediation Support Ltd seeks further supporters - we do not seek to be either a membership organisation or an accrediting body for mediation.

Mediation Support Ltd provides free services supporting the three essentials of running a successful mediation service:

1) securing more referrals and
2) raising the quality and range of services provided
3) generating funding for continued development.

We support mediation services with all three; in turn we hope that other mediation services will refer appropriate cases to 123 Telephone Mediation.

1) Securing more referrals:

-Providing free webspace and associated free services to mediation services e.g Bristol Mediation.

-Ensuring that callers to 123 Telephone Mediation are aware of the network of local mediation services which provide complementary services as well as a two-way stream of referrals.

2) Raising the quality and range of services:

-promoting events being arranged by others and by the Mediation and Reparation Committee

-listing others' training requests

3) Generating funding

-We are open to discussions around joint funding bids for a service involving 123 Telephone Mediation and we have trained fundrasing expertese within our team to assist your funding proposal.
